The Bid Officer will support the end-to-end bid lifecycle — from RFP analysis through submission
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze incoming RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and EOIs to identify scope, eligibility criteria, evaluation methodology, and submission requirements.
- Conduct gap assessments between client requirements and company capabilities, flagging risks and clarification questions early in the bid cycle.
- Draft and compile technical proposal content in coordination with subject-matter experts.
- Build and maintain compliance matrices to track requirement-by-requirement responses and ensure full submission compliance.
- Perform quality control on proposal documents, including formatting, consistency checks, and direct editing of Word/PowerPoint/Excel content.
- Coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams and follow up to meet internal deadlines.
- Support post-submission activities such as clarification responses, technical/commercial presentations, and negotiation documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in bid/proposal management, business development support, or a related coordination role — within IT services, systems integration, or technology consulting.
- Strong command of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including formatting and structuring long, multi-section documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent bids and strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail, particularly around compliance requirements and document accuracy.
- Experience working with e-procurement/tendering portals.
