We are looking for an experienced WebMethods Administrator to join our integration team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing the IBM webMethods platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and secure integration across enterprise environments.
You will work closely with integration developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to support mission-critical integration services and maintain a stable and reliable middleware platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, administer, and upgrade IBM webMethods environments
- Monitor platform health, performance, and availability
- Manage deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Integration Server components
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities
- Troubleshoot middleware and integration platform issues
- Manage users, permissions, certificates, and security configurations
- Support production deployments and environment maintenance
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure platform reliability
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience administering IBM webMethods environments
- Strong understanding of middleware and enterprise integration concepts
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, firewalls, SSL certificates, and load balancing
- Experience monitoring enterprise application environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with API management platforms
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in banking, government, or large enterprise environments
